Good to know, I just installed Lt headers and was going to extend the wires to have the o2 sensor read both banks.
So I should be OK with the o2 sensor in the passenger side collector?
That's what most do with Lt headers.

I had 2 different trucks with longtube headers and only a single sensor in the passenger side header collector and both ran great, one truck had the factory SD EFI and the other had a MAF conversion. I was able to get enough wire to reach the new sensor location with longtubes by simply removing the tape on the harness where is attached to the main harness(up behind the battery on those trucks) and pulling wire out some.

Looks good now.

Went back to the muffler shop and had Ed relocate the O2 sensor, truck has not yet shown the #41 code in 6 key-starts and 75 miles.

Truck runs much better as expected.

Ed didn't want to cover the cost, it was $50.00 to relocate.

I took the gamble as I felt that I needed to eliminate it as a possibility, the sequence of events was too suspicious.

Wasn't going to go to war over it, he maintained he's done them like that before, and it's not like taking it to a dealer where all types of work are done, and you expect that all bases are covered.

This guy is a pipe bender and that's it. Good at it though.

Thanks for the help!
