No 4 way flasher after towing
I towed my friends car hauler yesterday for a short distance for him. I had no turn signals or 4 way flasher while towing. After dropping off the trailer still no signals or 4way flasher. I parked and checked fuses all were good and signals started to work. But still no 4ways. Any thoughts on what to look for. Never had this before. I have blown a fuse before and always been able to find and fix. Thanks!!

There are some larger fuses in the engine bay fuse boxes that could have blown. After towing a rented U-Haul trailer, I came back with no brake lights - an engine bay fuse had blown (40a I believe).
Check the owners manual and look at the fuses under the hood, driver side, not too far from the firewall.

This has happened on my 6.0 before and the fuse that has blown is NOT the one you would expect. It is in no way identified in the owners manual as controlling turn signals, hazards, or the trailer plug, if I recall. I've blown it twice and both times it took me about ten tries to find the blown one. I'd recommend you keep searching. Use a multimeter to check the fuses as you go. Good luck. Sorry I can't remember which one. It's ten or fifteen amps if I recall (I believe ten but not sure).

On an 05 Excursion, the hazards are powered by ALWAYS HOT fuse F2. The turn signals are powered by HOT IN RUN OR START fuse F18. Both go to the flasher relay located in Aux Relay Box #3 which is located up under the dash on the driver's side.
It's important to identify the YEAR of your truck, the systems are COMPLETELY different from 00 to 05, for example.

That's what I figured. I was a little shocked that the local ford dealer didn't have one but one more day isn't going to make a difference at this point
