Haven't seen any black smoke yet, but I haven't really kicked into it yet either. I only have it set on the street tune, which is a step up from tow from what I've been told. I'm not really sure how I'm liking the shifting on it right now, seems very different from stock. I'm gonna keep an eye on it for a while and run a few tanks of fuel through it before I make any changes
I think the computer learns the shift patterns over time with a reprogram from what I have heard. Give it a few days. How about the loud whine I see on the u tube videos from deleted trucks?
I haven't really noticed mine being that loud. Of course I've only heard it from the drivers seat and with the push button start. Really isn't as loud as I was expecting. I'm not sure if the stock exhaust tips have anything to do with that or not?
I don't recall seeing the factory transmission programming, now that's not to say it wasn't there, it shifts pretty fast through 1,2,and 3rd. 4,5 are pretty lengthy and it wont go into 6th until after 45mph. I'm not sold on the transmission shifting yet on the street tune. that's all ive ran it in so far.
