Get the gap fixed. As the exhaust gets extremely hot and will throw the computer off and the regen off

Yes sir. The gap has already been fixed. The check engine light started coming on a good amount of time after the exhaust was fixed. never threw a light while the exhaust was messed up

If you have the code. Go to the teck folder in the 6.7 section and see what the problem could be.

Good lord that's a good looking truck....and your MPG numbers are pretty much spot-on for what I'd expect (stock it already has the aerodynamics of a brick).

Sick truck, love the blue line...

Thank You for the kind words sir! I love the truck I really do, but the check engine light, def heater/ drop that I have seen in mileage, I'm really considering going with deletes. If I can just get up to 12mpg around town id be happy. That's what I got in my two lifted 06 f250's. Plus, I'm concerned with the amount of short trip driving that I do.

No, Not an aerostar! lol but it does kind of look like one, just noticed that. It's a 2000 BMW 323i.

Update, Went ahead and got the delete pipe and SCT x4 yesterday, unplugged the EGR under the hood. Got to say I can tell a difference! not quiet as loud as id thought It would be. Not concerned with that though. I corrected my tires with the programmer and now its showing 1-2mph off with my phone speedo app. the Lie-o-meter is saying 15.9 now which I'm sure is a wee bit high, but one can hope!! I'm going to hand calculate it when this tank is gone.

Welcome to the dark side. You'll love the truck without that crap.

one question I do have. I purchased the block off plates, but was having a hard time with them. My buddy (6.0 mechanic) said since I "may" have to put back stock to go to a dealership in the next year, just to leave it stock under the hood for now, pipe in place, and plugs undone. Do yall think that will be ok for a while?

It should be ok for a while. The reason for the block off plates thou is to prevent the pipe from the manifold to the egr from plugging up with soot once the valve is tuned shut with the deletes. How long that takes thou I do not know. What problems are you having with removing the pipe?

Beginner issues! lol, I don't have the right extensions/swivel for the ratchet to get to it. I will probably go ahead and get those and go ahead with it soon just to be safe! Is it true you use a temp probe off of the exhaust to put in the bung on the lower plate? and If so, where does that plug in at?

Yeah the no limit set that I have has a egt tap in the one that bolts onto the manifold. You need to use a sensor off your exhaust as the stock egr probe reads differently. Then the probe from your exhaust plugs into the harness that you removed the egr probe from. Should be able to pick it up depending on what tuner you are using. If you try and remove the egr bolts just make sure to pre soak them with your favorite penetrating oil every now and then a while before attempting to remove them and be very careful taking them out not to break one off. Mine came out pretty easy but I pre soaked them in kroil and the truck only had 24k on the clock.

I have a 2015 350 drw 4x4 as well, and average 12.5 but have a camper top and aprox 3000 lbs all the time. I am curious to see what the long term benefits will be with your delete so I am subscribing to this thread, keep us updated from time to time. Does it throw black smoke from the exhaust with the delete?
