Hey guys took a picture in the day for better visibility. In addition to being low on the left side the whole bumper looks cheated to left as well. See pics of the ends. I will try to take it in to dealer but with holidays coming up that may be challenging so I might try to adjust it myself. I think I am going crazy because I thought that maybe the bed was crooked instead of the bumper. I did just have a line-x sprayed which required pulling the bed bolts but they are are all back in and the bed looks to be sitting squarely on the frame as it should be. I crawled under there and looked at what I think are the six bolts holding the bumper on either side. I took a picture for reference are these the bolts I would have to loosen to adjust the bumper? Thanks for all the input guys.

Bumper Bolts?

One of our company's 2016 F150's had a different colored inside door panel that was missed. The dealer had to order a new one.

Since they pulled the bed bolts to spray the liner. Get under and check. The left side may not be tighten and the right side may be tighten so much that they are compressing the rubber cushion under the bed where the bed bolts pass through. Look at how much thread is on the bolts on left compared to the right. This is what I'm thinking now.

It seems very odd to me. Are you sure the Line-X guys got the box on correctly. I don't think you have that much adjustment in the bumper.
Did you take any measurements from the ground to confirm it's the bumper?
edit: KAM I noticed you posted at the same time I was typing. I would agree with you that maybe Line-X caused the problem.

It's hard to tell but when I look at the pictures the bumper looks level. A few measurements would prove that. I doubt it would have left the factory like that.

Gramps...you may be right. Hard to tell positive with the dark pic...but it looks like the bumper is level with the top of the hitch.

That's what I thought. It would explain things. Box is also shifted to one side.

Hey guys thanks for all the input. I have some conclusion for you guys. It was not ford. After taking more measurements I determined the bumper is straight. It was the line-x guys for sure and the bed is twisted. After looking at the the top of the bed rear compared to front you can clearly see the twist in the bed. The bumper measured very similar and very even with the hitch. I measured a 1 3/4 inch difference from the top left and right tail light assembly and the twist is obvious I will be taking it back to the line-x guys this week. I just hope the twist is not permanent and loosening and re-torquing the bolts will straighten it back out. Even the front is not straight with the cab when looking at the top of the bed its just not as bad.

I should have known better because when I set the appointment they where just going to mask off the bed bolts instead of taking them out because they had not received the special socket from ford yet. But when I got to the morning of my appointment and dropped off the truck they where delighted to tell me that they just received the socket and I would be the first truck they could pull the bolts on.

Also they where rushed because they told me it would take 2 hours and it took 4, and it was a Saturday and to make matters even worse they told me the reason it took so long was because on reassembly the tech was trying to put the bed bolts back in and lost one of the clips they bolt into, into the frame. He had to undo all the bolts again fish it out of the frame re insert it and put all the bolts back in. I am sure he just unevenly hit they all with the impact gun instead of taking the time to torque them to factory spec. So disappointing to see shady work. I did not expect this from a line-x dealer. I took pics of the front bolts and you can see how uneven the amount of threads showing on the bolts are. I can't see the rear bolts because the rear wheel liner is blocking the channel where they are but I am sure its the same story if not worse.

I do need a favor if someone gets a chance can you take pics of what the gap is supposed to be under the taillights and how much space the rubber spacers provide between the bottom of the bed and frame if any. My truck literally looks like the bed is sitting directly on the frame which I don't think is right. Also if someone knows where I can find the factory torque spec for the bed bolts that would be awesome.

Top of the bed see the twist front to back.

Driver side front bed bolt.

passenger side front bed bolt probably an inch difference in threads showing.

Drivers rear bed bolt

Passenger rear bed bolt

Well...YEAH...your bed is crooked...lol. Couldn't see it in that earlier pic. It was definitely the Line X guys.......I'm willing to bet.

ON EDIT: Sorry, I missed the whole second page before posting.

I would just be sure that the gap between the tailgate (when down) and the bumper has sufficient room that if a piece of gravel or something is in there that it doesn't ding that [super expensive] tailgate.
Those guys caused you some worry and possibly a couple of gray hairs!
