Lost my Sync3
My daughter talked me in to going and buying sushi a couple nights ago in the rain. I started my truck with the remote and let it sit for about 5-7 minutes. When i jumped in I hit the start button and my little touch screen did not turn on. No radio, no nav, nothin. I shut off the truck and restarted and still nothin. I went ahead and drove on down the road. After sushi we returned to the truck. Once again I started it with remote. When i jumped in and hit the start button everything worked. I was very happy to have it back but I'm a little concerned about the intermittent functionality. granted its only hiccuped one time but hopefully it doesn't make a habit of it.

Sounds crazy but try this if it happens again. Shut off engine, open drivers door and shut, restart engine. I had my work truck that either the radio, AC or both would not turn on at times. This is what I had to do to get them to turn on.

Well i have a motorcycle that does the same thing occasionally. I've just learned to turn off and restart. i jus think the computer program has not fully loaded up when i would fire them up. Cant hurt to bring it back they may have a new flash or TSB

My computer freaked out when I left TorquePro connected -- every time. I finally learned to disconnect before starting. Since then, no trouble.

Yes this happened to me once. Also have had connectivity problems a few times. I read on an F150 thread to press the seek up and power buttons at the same time to do a soft reset. You don't lose any settings and it fixed the issues I described for me.

Good tip. Hopefully I will never need to try that but now I know, and knowing is half the battle.

Sort of similer
I've had that happen in my 13 F250 Lariat, fully load cuz it came that way, anyway it has always rebooted out of it after a start or two. My '08 F150 once shut down the radio etc but after I told Ford I wasn't buying a new one they put it back in and lo and behold it worked again. No idea why in either case, but there you go.

Yep....my screen went blank the other day while I was driving. Radio was still on but just the Ford symbol on the screen with a black background. Everything just came back on about 2 minutes later. My 2011 used to hiccup also. Always returned after I shut and restarted the truck though. Did it about once every 5 months or so.
