New to this Forum! And it's Great..
I have a 00' F250 4x4 Super Duty 7.3, When it's raining and I turn
on the wipers {mostly in intermittent mode} the engine will shutoff if I'm idling, or cut out for a second when I'm driving.
This has only happens when running the wipers.
This forum has fixed the problem with my door ajar light staying on{THX}....
What about if you run the wipers when it's dry out? Not trying to sound like a smart A$@, but it sounds like it cuts-out when its wet outside.
I'd try checking your connections, and drying them out with WD-40 - ECM connector, IDM connector, block on Driver's side valve cover, the valve-cover pass-through connections, etc.
Thanks for the reply Diesel_Racer and I will check these and use WD-40 on them. Yes I do believe the engine has cut out when I just sprayed window washer on glass.
Could the wiper cover recall I have read about have anything to do with this?
