Good Evening.
It's been a bit brisk here the last couple days.
Two mornings ago, when I started the van for warm up, there was a loud "CLACK" sound that seemed to come from underneath the middle of the van.
It's happens almost every startup since.
Sometimes it right at strat-up, and sometimes its a second or two after it fires up.
It sounds like a metal valve being put under pressure or closing with vacuum..
Any ideas out there as to what it might be? I know what I'm hoping its not!
My '05 E350 SD has a similar noise that your describing, I'm thinking it's coming from the ABS unit, "clicks" real loud right after the dash check lights turn off.
