I'm new to the forum and to the excursion world and I'm searching and learning as much as I can. Picked up my 03 X this past spring and love it, I just have some areas that need updated/addressed. When I got the truck it was completely stock with relatively low miles (for an 03). I immediately did some upgrades to the 7.3 to get it breathing better, but I need to address the suspension now. All of my bumpstops are completely removed because of the stock springs have settled so far.
I've been doing a lot of reading about the v code/modded b code spring swap and I think that's a great option. I'd like to bump it up a few inches but I'd say 4-6" at the most. Which brings me to my current search... while I think the v/b swap would be great, I've been looking at the procomp springs which are a bit cheaper. I was looking at #22410 for the front (4") and #22415 for the rear (also 4"). Procomp just states that the 22415 doesn't fit the excursion...? Any pointers are welcome, I'm still learning!!
