03 F250 SuperDuty Suspension Trade

A buddy of mine has a 03 F250 Super Duty 4x4, he wants to trade suspension claims to have a 3" lift stock, I have a 2000 Ford Excursion 7.3 4x4 will the parts fit and is it worth it. I compare my Excursion (stock) to others and I noticed I have a little bit more of a lift than others. I guess my question is do I already have a 3" lift. Should I trade parts? What would I benefit from this?

Is the trade worth it, if it were a totally stock EX with the D and G code springs, absolutely the trade would be worth it if his truck has the stock springs, Do a search on this site for V and B code spring swap, many happy EX owners and much info to research. I swapped in X code and did the modified B codes in the rear of my EX and will never look back..... You could probably use the B codes without modifying them with a V code front spring, otherwise you will need his rear springs and your EX rear springs as well

As for your truck already having a lift, guessing you bought used? See if there is a Ford stamp on one of the leaves in the spring packs, at least you will know whether its an after market spring of some kind
