Besides I got mine for $2000 under invoice, then $2500 in rebates, 2 free oil changes and a partridge in a pear tree.
This is what one dealer (A) offered me, but once I sent this to my prefered dealer (B) he beat it by another $500 (even though dealer A was going to give me $500 more on my trade.) I don't have a photo of what my local dealer offered, but I'm pretty sure I came in at $3300 below invoice plus the $1000 rebate and private cash rebate of $750. But out the door, my T&L cost about $1800 so those rebates covered that. Let's say i got the truck for $3300 less than invoice then!
I had an X plan pin, but didn't need it. I got right at 7K off MSRP, which was better than I could have got with X plan, plus I ordered a few accessories at dealer cost. My truck was on the lot when I bought it.
I just picked up my custom ordered F-350 yesterday. I asked to see the invoice sheet and was happy to learn the dealer's price (my purchase price) was significantly better than invoice.
Here is the price breakdown:
MSRP: $76,200
Invoice: $71,575
X-Plan: $71,564
The price I paid (based on True Car pricing): $69,500
D Plan: $68,761
A&Z Plan: $68,661
These prices were before any rebates, which on January 12th was $1500.
FYI Also, no sales tax in Virginia on any vehicle with a GVWR of 26,000 lbs!
OK, we should clarify here. "Smoking" X-Plan shouldn't take into account rebates. We all get those including those using an X-Plan pin. There are some dealers out there doing A-plan for everyone if you search. I haven't found any close yet but am looking.
I'd be interested if you find that out in the tri state area. Not afraid to drive some for a deal.
Quick derail. DJ Cobb what dealer in Nova did you use? You say no sales tax on over 26000lbs GVWR in Virginia but how does a F350 exceed that?
Thanks
