Looking at an F350 KR DRW, MSRP $78,410 dealers is down to $68,871 with no rebates in yet. Anyone know if the 0% on Super Duty's will be back in October?
The Houston area dealers are offering close to "A" plan for everyone today, earlier in the month you had to have a loss certificate from your insurance company.
Got 12% off MSRP on an ordered truck. That included the $750 rebate from ordering the brochure, so technically 11% before that rebate. Seems like now it has been increased to $1,500. I bought my truck in March of this year.
This was last year(11/30) but we backed into a $70k drive-out price on a sticker price of $72.4k. Selling price was $65,646 which amounts to about 9.5% off sticker. Taxes, fees, and astronomical Florida doc fees, minus $1k rebate. This was a cash deal which may not have got me the best #, but this one had everything I wanted and then some. Delivered to my office with a full tank of fuel too.
Some of those numbers are incredible. I haven't been able to get close to that from any dealer within 500 miles of me. However, I don't think we're all comparing apples to apples. For example, on most of the trucks I've looked at, invoice was between 5.5-6% below MSRP. As I understand it, hold back is another 3%, so anything over a 9% discount, and the dealer is only making money on factory incentives. So, are your dealers making up profit with huge fees? Are your "negotiated prices" inclusive of the $1295 destination fee?
I think the only way to do an accurate comparison is for people to list multiple pieces of information, including:
-MSRP:
-Invoice:
-Negotiated Price:
-Dealer fees, excluding taxes (e.g., doc fees, tag fees, destination charges, if applicable)
-Sales price (excluding taxes and rebates)

I also got additional discounts, including the $500 AQHA, $750 financing rebate, $1500 incentive and $750 Private Cash Offer. And $1,850 in dealer bucks.
