Yesterday, I replaced the door latch assembly to address the door ajar warning light issue that seems to plague Ford trucks. On the 2011 and forward, the door ajar sensor is integrated into the latch assembly and cannot be replaced independently. Anyway, after replacing the assembly, the problem is still there. I'm not really sure how to proceed. There doesn't seem to be a lot of info out there on the 2011 and newer models with this problem. I did verify that the wiring doesn't seem to be frayed or cracked in any way so I don't think that's the problem. I'm hoping I didn't get a bad door latch assembly. Does anyone have experience with this issue? I'd appreciate any help I can get.
