door ajar

my door ajar light wont go off.
im pretty shure its the drivers side sensor thinger.

how hard is it to replace and how much is it going to
be to fix her?

There is a link in the tech article at the top of the page about this. Basically all you need to do is squirt some WD-40 in the latch and it should take care of the problem.

Same thing happened to me, asked here on the forum. All ya gotta do is squirt a shot or two of silicone spray direct into the latch. That should do it!

this is the door latch right? the one that olds the door closed?

Yeah, the sensor is located within the latch. Mine hasn't acted up yet, but i go ahead and spray it everytime i wash it. I figure preventative maintenance is better than repair.
