This is a listing on the Bakersfield, CA Craig's List. I have no knowledge of it nor do I have any interest but from the photos the body looks pretty decent and the bed looks too long to be a 1/2 ton. Maybe a tonner with decent rear fenders. Not a V8 but the 6 banger looks half way decent. https://bakersfield.craigslist.org/cto/5896982434.html 1947 Ford Pickup barn find third owner straight 6 flathead 4 speed to many new parts to list runs drives great asking 6,500 obo or willing to trade for 1990-2002 jeep Cherokee 6 cly 4x4 4 door call or text me at 661808zerotwosevennine
I would be lying if I said I didn't have that phone # on my phone now..... BUT it isn't in the cards right now for me to spend money I don't have. Besides, I have a woodie to finish. Thanks for sharing it. I would be a really great truck by the looks of it. Those floors in the cab....!

I think you need to hold out for a nice clean 40-41
This one wasn't too far away last summer but according to the seller "It had some bubbles showing up under the paint". That might be acceptable if it was inexpensive, but this one wasn't. I never see bubbles under old faded original paint. There can be rusting and rusting through, but bubbles appear mostly under a repaint which was hiding poor repairs. It's background was here in Western Washington State. I have learned that a thousand dollar shipping bill from a dry section of the US is money well spent.
