Hi, I bought a bed this summer and plan to work on it in a couple weeks. The bed did not come with the fuel filler neck. It is a 73-76 bed, as it has a fuel cap and not a door. I have access to parts from a 78 and a 79. Would the filler neck from either of those fit the bed off a 73-76? It has the after axle 19 gallon tank. Thanks

Reason: Missing information
A filler neck from a door style bed will not fit your application. The 73-76 bed fill neck is a much sharper angle. Also, just so you know the overflow tube is on the opposite side as compared to later beds. I learned this swapping a 76 bed onto my 78. I had to run the rubber overflow sort of around the rubber filler tube to get my 78 tank to link up. Not that it matters so long as you don't overfill the bad boy. Best bet is to hit the JY or find someone on here. No one sells them that I can find as my 76 bed did not come with one and I looked for a while until I was hooked up by an FTE member here.
With the proper tools or even improper tools you can make anything fit. lol You could even cut out the gas flap and mod that complete part into your bed.
The flush mounted earlier fill neck has 2 angles to it. See the one in the blue blue box? The 78/79 (red box one )just has one bend and then mounts in a plastic cup that attaches to the inside of the bed.
The real long 2 angle one is for a 66-77 Bronco (under the dvrs side seat tank).

Does anyone know the fill neck hose & breather/vent hose diameter [Pictured in the Blue Square above]?
I want to pick up some replacement hose today over the lunch hour but can't remember the dimensions of each hose.
I can get a pic this afternoon off my 76 parts truck....
That would be appreciated!
The dimension I was looking for was the filler neck vent hose inner diameter so I can run to the parts store.
It's listed as "9170" in the master parts catalog.
I'm having a bit of difficulty following the master parts catalog to determine what the size of the filler neck vent was... this master catalog sure is confusing!

It has the after axle 19 gallon tank.
You will need an aft axle fuel tank filler neck from a 1973/76 8' Styleside, but there are TWO different types: With or without Evaporative Emission.
Evaporative Emission requires a NON vented fuel cap that has 4 nubs instead of the non Evaporative Emission cap that only has two.
When the filler hose was purchased from FoMoCo, it came with the vent hose taped to it. The specific vent hose was not available by itself, it had to be cut from bulk hose.
Vent hose basic part number 9170 is for Econoline only, there's no reference to F100/350's for this number.

Correct. I listed the wrong basic part number. I meant to list 9047 for a basic part number.
All I'm looking for is the inner diameter of that vent hose that attaches to the filler neck so I can purchase the correct size as a replacement.
Might just end up buying 3 feet of every inner dimension I can get my hands on if I can't get an answer lol... I shoulda measured last night
