So I have been hunting a rattle in my front end for a few weeks. Tonight I found it....front right spring has a broken bottom leaf. So my question is since I am 3rd owner and didn't get any real info when I bought the truck I am not sure if these are stock 4x4 front springs or not.
Alittle truck info....it's a 97 f350 crew cab long bed with a brand unknown rsk. I can tell you that the rear has the factory block as well as a added block. I know I know not my favorite thing but one step at a time. Also I can tell you that the springs have a ATLAS SPRINGS sticker and a tag that is around the front eye that is damaged but what I can make out says FSD D 4" ( I think ). So any help would be great.

Are you just trying to figure out what springs to order? I would contact ATS springs. They will be able to point you in the right direction. They helped me with all my spring questions.
Yes and no. the rest of the spring is in good shape so i was entertaining just replacing the damaged leaf. i've work in a class 8 truck shop for some years now and we often times do this instead of replacing complete assemblies.
well thanks for your response tshrager. i found a spring shop here in Dallas that has a leaf to replace the one thats broken. so i am going to go by and pick up the leaf and a tie bolt for about 50 bucks, so i am making out much cheaper than having to replace the pack.

Ha ha, don't think I did much bud. If it were me, I try to replace things like that in pairs. If the money is available.
