Under Rails/Over Rails

I am going to have Line-X put in the bed of my soon to be delivered 2017 and I would like to know the collective opinion of the forum members. Should I get the line-x under or over the rails? Which do you believe is better and why?

Thanks in advance for my continued education.

I think it's most common to do under the rails so you can keep the rail caps from the manufacturer on. But if you're going to be sliding things across the rails very often then putting linex over the rails would make a lot of sense.

I went with under rails, If you remove the plastic rails they leave a bunch of hole in the bed rails. The plastic rails are easy to replace it damaged.

I can't imagine spraying over the rails. You'd either have to remove the plastic bed caps and that would look like heck or spray over the plastic bed caps. Both nopes in my thinking.
