Not sure what my problem is with my truck as I haven't had a chance to check the codes. My 93 f150 with the 300 rarely gives me problems and in a way it don't seem like a big problem. recently my cel came on one night when I was driving home from work, I had just put that e10 in my tank by accident. Anyhow, can start it up and idle for as long as you want with the cel not comeing on but as soon as you take off and hit 3rd gear about 25 mph it comes on and won't go off, truck seems to run just fine, real smooth with the light on but less power noticeable by me as I drive it everyday but to someone that don't they wouldn't notice the lack of power. After about an hour of driving it the other day I noticed the light went out and the truck kinda jerked like it back fire or something and suddenly my power was back then about 3 miles down the road it come back on my speed was about 55 mph when it happened. I'm wondering if it's something related to the e10, egr or a vacuum line as the cel would come on this past summer till I fixed a vacuum line to my egr valve. Truck is real fumee and has more than usual condensation out the tail pipe and around where the upper intake manifold and lower meet, it's all bolted tight but you can see the residue where the two bolt together. I'm wondering how to do a vacuum test to see if that's the problem, what all do I need to check it?
