I just purchased a 2017 F350 Lariat off the lot, this is the first truck that I haven't special ordered in a long time but wanted to get one before the end of the year. The truck was spec'd out just about perfect with what I wanted except its missing the upfitter switches and garage door opener. I was wondering if anyone knows if either can be added? my dealer says the can't but I question how much they looked into it. I know the switches could be added to the 16's on down but not getting anywhere on this. I can live without either option but would add them if I could. any info would be helpful
There are a couple of good aftermarket "upfitter" switches on the 4WD sites. I put one on my Jeep. One I saw had bluetooth access that you could control from your phone for when you are out of the cab.
Homelink is from what i read. Wire should be in the headliner, just need the visor. I did it in my daughter's 2016 Volvo. On the volvo the option was around $100, part was around $400 online - sucks. Ford's should be cheaper though. I think I searched when I almost bought a truck that didn't have it.
