Hello all,
I am new here and I am hoping that one (or a couple of you) could answer a question about a truck I am looking at. It is a 1995 F-350 (it came as a cab and chassis) with a flatbed. It is equipped with the 7.3 diesel engine which is backed by an automatic trans. The truck has a dualie rear end. It is 2WD.
Because of the research I have been doing (on this kick *** site) along the line of commercial Vs. non-commercial registrations in my home state (the people's republic of Massachusetts) I know that this truck may be over the magical 10,000lb limit for private registration in Massachusetts. The truck is 30 miles from my house and I did not look over the door sticker while drooling over it the other day (yep, I'm an idiot).
Could anyone ball-park me on what the GVW may be on this thing? A whole bunch of google searches has netted me zippo. Any help would be much appreciated!

Looking at my '95 info, your 2WD F-350 cab/chassis would be either 10,000 or 11,000 GVW. If it was a "super duty" cab/chassis, the GVW was 15,000.
Rather than take a chance in Mass., it would be best to look hard at the door sticker.

Thanks for the info. I sure am glad I found this site. While I was hoping to be below the limit, I think I am going to be over when I look at the sticker tomorrow. I really like this truck, so I think I am going to bite the bullet and go for it despite the extra cost of registration.
This is a great site and I will definitely add it to my "route" around the internet.
