265/75-R16 on stock wheels?

I was wondering if I cam put 265/75-16 on stock '93 F250? Or I will have to stick with 245/75? Truck is all stock 2WD diesel.
Anyone has pictures of a truck with these tires?
Thanks.

Stock 235/85-16s are 31.7" OD, 9.3" wide.
265/75-16 are 31.6" OD, 10.4" wide.

I'd say very unlikely to hit the front bumper.

Yes, they will be fine.

Like Nothing Special said you are only adding about 3/4" of an inch to the width

I ran 285/75r16 on my f350. Should be the same time because the lugs are the same. I have been told I could have fit 295/75r16. I'm looking to redo my dually rims on another truck and heard about 255/85r16 and heard about 315/75r16 too but idk about that one.

Technically 285s are too wide for the factory 7" wide SRW rims. And dually only came with 6" wide rims. Don't get me wrong, I put about 20k on my dually with 315s with no weird wear

I'm not sure how the spacing compares, but my 91 Dually has 265/75s on the front. They rub when turning hard but otherwise fit fine. Might be fine on a single rear wheel truck.

You'll potentially rub the sway bar on hard turns with tires that wide.

He never mentioned it being a dually. I own 3 trucks. 1996 F350 CCLB 4x4 460 auto 9" lift on 37"x12.5" on 17" rims it only has a slight rub against brake line when full cranked left backing up, 1997 f350 CCLB diesel 4x4 auto-manual conversion (totaled now parts truck. This truck had the 285/75r16) it did not rub smoother ride when anti-sway bar removed months after tires were put on, 1997 f350 CCLB dually 2wd auto sitting on 215/85r16.

For them with the dually's, never encountered the rub between the two dual mounted tires? when you're not checking the pressure, and pressure get's low with the ballooning that's where they rub.

I was told not to go a wider size tire, to prevent that.

I only have the 265/75s on the front, the rears are 235/85s so no issues there. They were free so I won't complain!

92 F250 4x4, I had 305/70/16's on factory steelies. A little trimming of lower frt bumper corners (not even noticeable) fit fine. Recently replaced with 265/75/16's. I don't like the look quite as much, but the occasional 10K trailer towing with 3.55 gears is quite a bit better.
