Sorry if this has been discussed before on here, I was unable to find this specific answer.
I have an SCT Livewire TS that I just had unlocked from my previous 6.0L PSD. This is the tuner I plan to put on the 6.7L PSD in the future (more than likely after 'weight reduction') to save money on purchasing a different tuner. Anyhow, I know there are a few tuners out there and many companies tuning. My question is, who makes the best tunes for the 6.7L for the SCT tuners?
I was going to go back to where I had the 6.0L tunes written from (Quick Tricks) but have not read anything in regards to them in terms of 6.7 tuning. They do tune the 6.7s both stock and 'weight reduced' but haven't read anything on any forums about their tunes.
I have tunes from Rudy's on my SCTx4 and like them. I don't know right off if they do tunes for the Livewire or not. Their customer service is top notch though.
SCT Tuners off the shelf do not have the custom tunes for deletes that you are seeking. Those are an add on. Think of it as buying an iPhone and downloading an app. This is how they stay in business. As far as logging 35's on the tuner...I have 35's but think I had to load them as something like 33.7's to get a true reading. Use your GPS along with the tuner to get a true read.
What Doug said. I just spent 2 weeks out of town. Used tow tune going and coming, switched back to street tune while driving around not towing. In addition to Rudy's having top notch CS, SCT does as well. You can just call them and ask for a list of "tuners"
