I think it's just one of those things in life that you can/will never go back to. Once you leave cloth seats and get a car/truck with leather, it's hard to not love the leather for the feel, comfort, and looks. Heated and vibrating are just a bonus. Just like when you buy a mountain bike....you NEVER go back to a less expensive one...you always go up because it's hard to live with "Lesser" performance. That's how is it with the leather for me. Same with Diesel vs. Gas...hard to step back once you pull the boat with a diesel. My truck was totaled in March and I used a friends gas Chevy 3/4 ton to pull it to the dealer and back. Oh my GOD...seriously....I could not own a gasser and pull comfortably with my boat. OK...back to the seat subject...get the leather!!!!!

I look at it differently. I had lariat f-150's with leather for many years. The last was a 2008 that I still have. My wife loves that truck, and still drives it. My current truck is a 2015 XLT F-150 with cloth. I will be ordering a F-350 XLT in the spring. I love those seats is the 2015. The 2017 Super Duty trucks have the same seats. The heated seats work far better than any other I have had. They are not cooled, however the cloth is very comfortable in the summer. I have no problem driving 8 hours straight with these. I can not say the same for my previous trucks. I guess it's a matter of personal preference, but from my point of view going cloth was an upgrade.

Happy Trails.

I went from a Lariat to an XLT and was completely happy with the cloth XLT. I'm happy either way.

I always found cloth seats to be more comfortable to sit in than any leather (even S-class benz leather), especially when you park your butt in a vehicle that's terribly hot or cold.

Cloth is harder to keep clean than leather, though, and leather certainly looks more luxurious as long as its kept in good shape.

I'm going to go for a cloth XLT with vinyl floor, so comfort and utility take highest priority for me.

Figured I'd stick this post in right after "Arctic_Wolf"

I have Malamutes and they ride with me frequently. One of them chewed the leather headrests on our Honda. I got an XLT with Cloth seats so he wouldn't be tempted.
