So i was haveing problems with my dash gauges, so i replaced the icvr, now only the fuel and oil presure gauges are acting wonkey could this be a bad sending unit ground, or a short in a wire or something easy?

Wonky how? That might be a clue. For example fuel sender can cause the gauge to do the hula, the float is made of soldered brass, they get a pinhole and fuel-logged and sink, or sink halfway and such. Bad engine grounds can also be a cause wonky gauge readings.

Very possibly you didn't get the harness plug back into the cluster correctly and fully. Also, the Mylar is very easy to accidentally bend over

Helps to have a good ground strap between cab and engine, too

wonky as only the oil and fuel will go full left or full right and stay there for a while sometimes it works fine, i'd bet i didn't get the plug in great, i got to repull it any way so well see...

as a suggestion, don't forget to check the grounds at the sending units too.

Tank ground.

The tank has never been out so id be surprised if it was the problem but i will check it, being that oil is on top of fuel in the cluster could it be a bad circut thing on the back of the cluster, does the oil pressure sender have a ground? any other things i should look at while im at it?

so not the tank ground as i tightened it down as it was standing straight up, gauge read 1/2 so i put 5 gallons in it read 3/4 i was like nope it was on half for a week thats not right so i put gas in till it shot back at me 12 gallons later gauge said full i thought yay its fixed then it went to 3/4 now empty, tank sender? btw the oil gauge seems to kinda follow the fuel, bad oil sender?. i think i will replace the oil sender first as it would be easier. then move to the fuel sender.
