Howdy y'all, first post

Surprised when none of my usernames/passwords worked on this site and realized i must have never joined. I've been lurking for so long that's hard to believe.

I got my F150 about six months ago and have been driving the hell out of it.

'76 F150, std cab, 4wd, 360/np435, 33" tires and i'm guessing it's got a small lift on it, maybe not.

Planning on a big block crate motor from Ford Racing and a ZF5. Going to sell my '34 roadster to fund the project (happy to do it, i never drive it). I was thinking of keeping the NP435 in it but I know me and better go ahead and ZF5 it since I'll be in the mood.

Anyway I don't really have any questions, I've read damn near every post on here and already have the L&L catalog and price sheet. All it takes now is money! In the meantime I'm piddling with the small things that need fixing and trying to leave the 360 alone. I've never owned anything with a 2 barrel, it sucks!

Welcome to the FTE
Nice looking pick up. Sure would be hard for me to sell one toy (specially a 34') to work on another toy. But I do get it that if it isn't driven/played with, then move it.

Welcome aboard!

I'd say you're doing the right thing. The truck certainly has more utility than the roadster anyhow

Aftermarket.

C7TZ-17723-A .. Stainless Mirror Head-Use with Western Junior (West Coast) Mirrors / Obsolete

1967/79 F100/350.

This genuine Ford mirror head has 3 vertical embossed lines with the center line shorter than the other two.

Thanks ND. I looked at the ad and saw the weight and it was to light, protect those mirrors well, keep them clean and free from salt.

Welcome to FTE, nice ride. Make sure you join your state chapter too.
Texas Chapter - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums

Also make sure you get more than L&L catalogs.

Dennis Carpenter, National Parts Depot, Jeffs Bronco Graveyard, LMC. ClassicAutoParts.com, Truck Shop Orange Ca wwwTruckandCarShop.com

Here is what actual OEM West Coast Jr's look like. Sold these just a while back to a fellow FTE member.

those are sweet. i didn't like mine when i first got the truck but they've grown on me. the pattern reminds me of star trek. they are light and flimsy but surprisingly they don't move or vibrate at all. i hate all the holes in the door from the stock mirrors, i'm just going to put some small acorn nuts in them. good to see that mine are cheap as dirt on amazon if i want to replace them. i don't want any more holes in the doors.

Mig the holes closed..Hard to believe, but I picked these up for 20$ years ago,by knocking on some guys door on a Sunday ,and asking if he wanted to sell the mirrors on the old rotted truck in his field. He said take whatever you want off the truck,so i took the mirriors and farm and ranch badges,,,knocked back on the door and gave him 20$,,,look like he was drinking all night, iwas happy
