I just purchased some own ford aluminum wheels and the man I bought them from told me I need to get some flanged lug nuts, where can I get these and will any flanged 9/16 18 nut work?

Are they OEM aluminum wheels, or aftermarket? What year truck did they come from? Pictures of the lug nut holes?

Alcoas would take TAPERED lug nuts. Do you have the hub/center caps? That will also determine what nuts to use. What wheels do you have now and what nuts do they use?

Are they off a Superduty? Those have a different bolt pattern and use flanged lug nuts.

Chevy wheels the last owner put on my truck, it has regular tapered lug nuts but the holes are so worn out from them that it swallows up the nuts and the studs shear frequently.
The wheels i just bought, they are the same size as the chevrolet wheels but the holes are not worn out like my current rims. The gentleman who sold me the wheels said i have the wrong lug nuts for my current rim and that is why the wheel holes are so worn and i am shearing lugs. You can see where flanged nuts have been used on these rims, what is the correct nut (my studs are 9/16-18) and where can i find them

Those look like SD wheels. Have you put a tape measure across the lug pattern to check? What you need would be 6 1/2" center to center of two opposing holes, the SD wheels are 6 5/8" (roughly, it's 170mm).
If they do measure out correctly, take that pic or one of the wheels with you to your local tire shop and they should be able to set you up.

as Jared said, they look like superduty wheels and probably will not fit on your truck. the only way to know for sure is to jack the truck up, remove one of your wheels, and try to slide that rim on your studs/hub.

your 93 uses a 8X6.5 bolt pattern, the 99 and newer superduty wheels use an 8X170 bolt pattern.
and the wheels are not interchangeable.
