All: Re-assembling dash on '66 F250 Custom Cab, and neglected to take photo of correct **** arrangement before I dismantled.
Can someone post a photo of the correct location of ***** left & right of steering column?
Thanks. Jeff
I can't get you pictures right now, but I can describe how my 1966 F250 Ranger (implies Custom Cab) was before I took it apart. Mine is a later VIN number. Have you had your Warranty Plate decoded before? If not post the info from it or a picture of it and we can decode it. Anyway, things changed on different trucks slightly by VIN and that can help.
Mine has 3 on the left (not counting the ignition switch) and 4 on the right of the steering column and goes like this from left to right:
1. Headlight switch
2. Wiper switch
3. Cigar Lighter
----Steering Column
4. Emergency Flasher Indicator (a red lens in a chrome bezel with writing around it)
5. Emergency Flasher Switch
6. Choke Cable
7. Fan Control/Defrost
All have the same basic looking ****, except for #4 which is not a **** or anything you interact with.
The Bezels vary as to what they say from one to the other.
Then there is the other two HEAT and TEMP ***** below the dash a bit further to the right on their own separate bracket that screws to the underside/backside of the dash.
