Help with strange issue

Issue is on a friends 2001 f250. 7.3l mileage unknown.. has swamps tunes and baby swamp injectors{other mods unknown}

Truck runs good majority of the time. Sometimes though if you hit a bump it looses all pedal. You can push it to the floor with no response. If you let it all the way up it resets. and drives well for a while.

Ok I scan it with my cargaugepro and torque apps and it shows a throttle pedal high circuit code. I thought and suggested the whole pedal to him initially thinking its old and wore out. He did replace the whole pedal. New issue.... now with the new pedal assembly it drives well but if he goes WOT{his foot is very heavy} all electronics in cab and all power to the truck dies. almost to me like the engine dies as well for a 1-2 second period with all coming back to life after that short period of time. Truck has never done this in the past until three days ago. He has owned it for almost ten years. I dont know where to go with this and dont have a ton of time to fool with it, He is going to take it to swamps and let them check it out but they are swamped until after new years.

ANYWHO ... anyone know anything to help or ask anything and I may can answer. THis guy us my friend and neighbor and I have helped him in the past but this has me stumped. THANKS

What brand pedal assembly? I've had new parts end up being bad before.

If the old pedal is still available, swap back and see if the symptoms go back to the old ones and the new WOT problem is gone. If that happens, trade the new one in for another new one.

turns out his "new" pedal is not true. New to him but from a salvage yard truck. I was going to put one of them into my truck but looked into my 2003 model and I have a single connector where his has two smaller connectors. He is going to swap them back out and then most likely get a new one from ...I keep telling him to stop buying these sensors and other critical items from Dormam and junk yards.

Thanks for the input.

Ok Here is what the fix for this specific problem was.

Broken ground cable at frame. Not sure which one but was what fixed this guys issues. Credit given to Swamps Diesel as he took it to them and they racked their brains with it a day or two.
Sorry for the delay.

Swamps Diesel is the place to go if you can't do it your self. Heard a lot of good from them. But it dose cost.
