Replacment mirrors? '03 Navigator

Anybody find some affordable replacement mirrors for these? I looked around and I don't see anything remotely affordable. I saw some HD mirrors thread on here that you can put on a Expedition, so I assume they would fit the Navigator but I really don't want tow mirrors as I don't need them.

Any ideas of maybe being able to retrofit a newer style mirrors without too much hassle?

TIA.

Yeah the power mirrors aren't cheap. The motors on the ones on my '06 don't fold in but partially, and then won't return back to the correct spot... the motors seem worn.

I like the appearance of the third gen Navigator/Expedition mirrors more, and design-wise it looks like they are a direct replacement. I'm not sure if the connectors will be the same, but with a wiring schematic you can wire your existing connector to it and make it work just like your existing mirrors used to.

I was looking at these, hoping to find the chrome caps (like seen on these: https://www.1aauto.com/mirror-pair/i/1amrp01305) from a set of OEM mirrors on a Navigator in a junk yard, buy just the caps, and paint them Silver Birch Metallic to match the truck. I can't see spending $400 more to get the mirrors with the chrome caps, even if I never find used chrome caps. But for just over $500 for both mirrors, that's about as cheap as I've seen for two new mirrors. Hope that helps!

I was have a similar issue with the drivers mirror not folding all the way, figure I could try spraying some wd-40 near the joint and now it folds all the way. Although this is a temporary fix since It has started to fold 3/4 of the way again but I sprayed it 4 months ago but it beats paying 500 bucks! Might try something slicker....

Yeah I just might be forced to go into the current mirrors and see if I can fix/rebuild them. Not looking forward to that.
