keyless entry install

2008 F250
I bought a cheap keyless entry system from Amazon that came with really crappy instructions, but I think I have it partially figured out.
I think I have located the correct wires in the kick panel.

One thing I can't find is if the lock opens and closes on a positive pulse or a negative pulse, and is when it is unlocked,is that considered open or closed in electrical terms?

When the door is unlocked, it should be considered open.

The lock solenoids should operate on a pulse on each wire. One wire with a pulse might be the close wire. If you pulse the other wire, then the solenoid should unlock the door.

In electrical terms, open mean no electricity flows. Light switch turned off if an example of open. The contacts are open. When you turn the light switch to on, then the contacts are closed and electricity flows and the light bulb lights up.

I was able to get this figured out.I found someplace that showed me how to check if it was a positive or negative pulse.Once I figured that out that rest was pretty simple
