Edge Insight Evolution CTS2 Experience?

Anyone have any experience with the Edge Evolution CTS2 Tuner 85401 CA Edition or the Non-CA edition? I just purchased it online and waiting for it to arrive. I am hoping for a little bit better fuel economy and performance. I wanted to go with a CARB compliant tune so I don’t have to worry about SMOG and reflashing back to stock, etc each time. From my research it seems the SCT X4 is very good in conjunction with the Insight monitor (which I had), but again it is not CA CARB legal. I know in the past Edge had a bad rep with issues with transmission problems, etc so I’m wondering if I’d me safe running these tunes in my 6.0 Excursion. From my understanding these new Edge Insight products are a complete different animal than the old Juice, Attitude programmers.

Truck has the following modifications:

ARP Head Studs
Ford OEM Headgaskets
Machined/Rebuilt Heads
BPD HD AIR to OIL cooler with BPD filtration
BPD Water Pump
BPD EGR Cooler
BPD Fan 7.3 Fan Adapter
New HPOP
4 in Magnaflow exhaust (with CAT)
S&B CAI (CARB legal)
All misc updates, STC fitting, stand pipes, dummy plugs, turbo drain tube, seals, gaskets

Anyway, my questions are if this would be safe running with my above mods? Is there any disadvantages to running this particular tuner? Thanks for any feedback, insight or comments!
