I have decided to do a EBPV delete by buying a blank pedestal and high flow outlet for my 97 f350. Any suggestions on who has the most reputable parts/sales for a item like this? I have done some internet searching and found one for a decent price at Riffraff. Any opinions/suggestions would be appreciated.
Also, when we put the outlet and pedestal on we can leave the old EBPV on the truck and just unplug it?
You can drill out the rivets in the EBPV butterfly valve, pull the actuator arm out, and put a freeze plug in the hole... you'll have a "high flow" outlet for $0.70
I used the Riffraff delete pedestal as well. I also gutted the outlet/EBPV and used a freeze plug to plug the shaft hole.
When it comes to the wiring, I left the coil part (the round thing with wires attached that fits over the EBPV solenoid) hooked up and just leave it there in the valley under the turbo. This way I don't get any codes as I live in WA now, and have to pass emissions testing.
