gpr leads
Ok, in pircheagon pic, my wires are all removed. #3wht/org wire showing 4ish volts and #5 red wire showing 12+v with KOEO.
. THE AIH relay wires, red wire showing 12+v while the purple wire showing 0.04ish v.
. I'm gunna connect purple wire from AIH loom to why/org on gpr. And red wire to red on gpr...see what happens

Beating a dead horse here...so, I bench tested the original gpr, supplying 12v to big lug and one of the little lugs. Grounding out the other little lug, and damn gpr transferred power to the open big lug...so, I reinstalled in truck, configuring all sorts of variable wiring configurations, and CAN NOT get led bulb to light up....
Using Parisch's diagram did you try removing the wire from the small post#3 and with KOEO use a jumper from the negative post on the battery to the #3 small post?
Your bench test shows a good GPR working, this will tell you if the PCM is supplying the needed ground close the GPR when its in the truck.

Ok, just now, using Car Gauge Pro, since Torque Pro did not pull it, CGP pulled up P0380..GPR- high. From the sounds of it, gotta prove write 101 on the pcm to see if its grounding out shouted within the module. Hopefully its just a chafe wire up to the relay, and not a burned out side within the module
One pop up of the hood to look at the wiring, made me go a different route. So, fired now, I ran a ground write from that small relay lug to a switch, which is then grounded. Worked perfect and led lit up
There are two ways to approach this in my opinion.
1. Would be to get a Pinout (which I can post with the last 8 of your VIN) and check the ground circuit to the PCM Connector to identify if it's the wiring or the PCM. OR,
2. Put a switch in the cab to turn on/off when needed. You could go as far as getting a time delay relay and a momentary Switch that would turn the circuit off after a pre-determined time you set from 0-120 seconds ....
