02 blend door actuator?

Hi friends.
02 expedition with a no heat issue.
You're going to say search but bear with me.

Thought my actuator was right over the passenger foot well...thought it was white and visible but nope.
Wanted to check for plastic bits to do a blend door check.

I'm wondering if my setup is more like the 03's with the actuator behind the radio on the top?
As in this video....Ford Expedition '03-'06 - HeaterTreater

Pretty much all I have under there is the blower.
So it's either on the top behind the radio like the 03 or....more toward the center behind the center floor console that I haven't removed yet.
Can anyone clarify for me?

Wanted to go with a doorman product for $45 instead of the heater treated $105 method.
Wondering if it's the same setup with the bottom metal shaft that just slips on and in through the hole but reversed to be on the top for the heatertreater method?

Need to make sure that A...the door is the issue and B....I pre order the right door.
Is the doorman door workable for the behind the radio setup or just for the pre 02 under glovebox setup?

Thought I had it all figured out until I started tearing into the thing and can't find the actuator at all.

Is this making sense?
Hard to keep it straight with all the videos and threads available so wanted to ask.

Thank for your newbie to this model tolerance and help.
Any guidance or advice?
Appreciate it.

Hey....have a good holiday?

I don't have the 2002 Expedition layout handy but here is the F150 one showing where the connector is, which "should" be the same.

Alright.
Get a little heat on and off. Trying to avoid putting a hole in the ac/heat box just yet.
When I turn the dial to cool it does get a little colder, back to warm...mildly warm again so thinking the blend doorbell is working a little bit.

The heater hoses in the engine bay...one is definitely hotter than the other.
Ya think my heater core needs a flush?
When I bought the rig there was some rusty sludge in there before the first flush.

Any ideas?
Going to start a heater core flush questions thread.

They should be close to equally hot, so yes try a flush.

It was a heater core flush. Did a write up under a no Heat thread title.
