Dual alt. bracket help.
.
I wanting to add a dual alt. setup to my 78' f150 with a 351m.
Already done the 3G swap, & it works admirably well.
But I desire a duel system. The second is for auxiliary reasons.
I'm plenty capable of wiring this system in,
heck I've built my own wiring harnesses before.
I just need help on the brackets/mounts & Main pulley selection.
Is there a bone-yard set-up I can cobble together.?
Or
Will I have to go full custom.?

P.S. It would be a bonus if I could get Dual-Groove pulleys on the alternators.

Sure. There are plenty of parts in the salvage yard to cobble together. Since this is a custom set-up, that means you get to play engineer and cobble (assemble/fabricate) a system that works. Awesome.

It be great if someone had some kind of head start on the cobbling.
(Unless someone knows of those ambulance mounts that carried two.)
That or help me fab one from scratch.
Wouldn't care if it's the classic slide mount
or
Two T-mounts back to back.
There is room for two on the Pass. side. just need to figure it out.
I could remove the power steering pump & fab a mount there.
But then I'd loose my power steering…
