Question regarding VIN Decoder
I ordered a new truck at the end of October. My order got delayed because my dealer could not get allocation. He has sent me the VIN which is scheduled to be built Jan 9. For fun I plugged the VIN into the vin decoder VIN Decoder - Ford Truck Enthusiasts Forums
The VIN decoder shows an 8' box. Not the dealer sent me a screen shot showing that my truck is optioned out with a 6' box.
How accurate is this vin decoder? Is there any chance ford read the order wrong and is actually building it as the VIN shows?
He says not to worry but I need this truck for Feb.
