When I hook my battery cable up to my battery when negative cable my truck automatically starts turning over without the key in it what could be the problem

Something must have changed in the connections for it to have all of the sudden started doing this. Did you put in a new battery and maybe move wires around the terminals? Is the battery hooked up to the starter somehow?
