'56 Door Window Moldings?

I'm contemplating adding the door window moldings to my Custom Cab '56. Anyone want to chime in on their experiences with adding these? Any recommendations?

Once you have the moldings (with clips) in hand installation will be straightforward. I personally don't know anyone who has ADDED them but I know quite a few who have removed them.

Don't keep me in suspense- remove them? Why would someone remove them if the moldings were currently installed? (other than to paint)

The trim is unnecessary bling. If you like it then it's great but for most folks it's just one more item to remove in a effort to clean up the looks of the truck. Think about it...if owners will remove something as essential as a door handle, what chance does a non-functional piece of trim have?
