Hi all had a previous post about my tranny. In the end shop found low pressure when warm so it got rebuilt. Here's issues so far and what shop told me.
Driving home after rebuild I gave it some gas and it sounded like a card in the spokes of a bike for few seconds. Called shop and they said drive 500 miles to break in and call back.
Over the course of that 500 miles I heard the noise frequently at first then less and almost went away. At about 700 miles I heard again and called the shop. Shop stated he understands why I think it's the tranny but it could also be exhaust or something else. I told him I'd bring up. I also figured it would help them trouble shoot if I could make it that sound. I finally figured out between 35 and 50 mph with very little throttle if the truck upshifts kind of rough and I give half throttle.... I've recreated noise five times. Will that be enough for the shop? Lol at this point I'm frustrated. 3 grand for nothing.
If you have a video camera handy then record it. Your only after the
audio but if you happen to have some one to help out have them get
a shot of the dash so you can show the speed and the gear that your in.
