About a week after my wreck I got the Parking brake light and the message brake fluid level low. The fluid level is fine and I read some other threads where people said the vacuum system was connected somehow. I knew the ESOF didn't work so I replaced the broken line and nothing changed, except the ESOF works now.
Anyway I can't for the life of me find a replacement sensor, part number or anything.
I think it part of the reservoir. Look on the side away from the fender
and you may see the connector. I'll go look at mine to be sure.
I would post a PDF but the XP machine is undergoing a Hard Drive transplant
and not doing so well. Looks like I need to do some OS surgery too.
I think the failing drive created some file errors that I need to fix.
I went out and had a look and took a photo.
Check the engine side of the reservoir and see if the connector
is still attached and in good shape. It might just be that the
switch is stuck. I think it may just be a reed type switch.
I've looked at it a few times but I guess I assumed un screwed somehow. I see the pig-tail for sale so I guess it's an integrated part. perhaps I can jiggle the wire and possibly removed the screen, drain and wiggle something down in there. It really sucks because cruise control isn't working now.
