help is needed!

Hi,

my X stalls while driving and engine shut-off completely on road, it cranks but won't start!!!!

I have checked fuel pump by ( hear a pump) and it seems work ...tried to spray some Starting fluid and I can feel that will gonna work but battery died! What to do in this case? I will charge the battery, but what next? Is it crank or cam sensor?! If neither, is it fuel pressure regulator?

knowing my X is 2000 5.4 L

thanks!

You need to check for codes in the computer, have a hot charged battery and verify fuel pressure with a gauge as sound alone won't tell you much. Any troubleshooting without doing that is just benefiting the parts stores.
