I actually prefer the previous-gen curved dually fenders to the "boxes" we have now.
Initially, I preferred the typical horizontal badging to the vertical style on the 2017. I've come around. The new vertical badges have more detail and the indented Fxxx badging looks cool.
I also like the old Powerstroke round badges, but the new ones are large enough and look nice.
I personally hated the fenders on the 11-16 drw. I never owned one but it made me like chevy and ram better because I thought they looked so bad. I loved the 10 and older ones and I was extremely happy when they showed the 17 and it looked a lot more like the pre 11-16 ones.

Funny how opinion vary, because I really liked the smaller retro style fenders, esp. on white.
I don't care for the '17 dually fenders. It looks like Ford couldn't decide if they should go with rounded or squared so just slapped both on. The ones on my '06 looked decent even though they were big. I like the ones on the '16's a lot, rounded and minimal. I think the Ram duallys look sexy with the dually fender integrated, one smooth panel.
