Unhappy Time to say goodbye...

I'm not leaving the board, you're not that lucky!

One of my nieces was driving the others SUV and got stuck in the buffeting of an 18wheeler went off the pavement and rolled it end over end once and sideways one and a quarter times. Believe it or not all 7 of them walked away. One had a fractured pelvis and one a lacerated liver. The rest bumps and bruises.
She didn't have full coverage (didn't owe on it but can't afford a replacement right now) and I haven't been driving the Tribute so off to Wyoming she goes. I really wanted to get her to 300,000 miles myself, especially since we bought her with 41 miles.
I can't say enough good things about this little beauty. Never left me stranded and the cost of repairs have been low. If it wasn't for alternators I think I'd be under $500 not counting maintenance.

I may not have the expert some have but I'll still be checking in - and I'll be in the F150 section as well. But I will get a pict of the odometer at 300,000 am due post it!

Here is the only pic they had of the SUV. I know it was a Honda, think Pilot because it was a 7 person.

Thank you joester! Very fortunate.

There are few things more appreciated in life than a vehicle that crashed well. It looks like that one certainly did.

Thanks everybody. They were minor injuries compared to what the owner (sister) who was following behind them thought they would be finding. It very much did its job at protecting the occupants.

Well I said I'd get a picture when she reached 300,000 miles. Unfortunately it's not happening. After a few short trips it appears a couple of the spark plugs were spit out. My niece pulled the head(s) and used the threaded inserts to get it back on the road. Then so,etching else went wrong. Water stated pouring out. They are going to put her to rest instead of spending what could be cheap or possibly a small fortune.
It was sad news but everybody knew it would happen some day.
