On the dedicated units for ATV's and lawn mowers I have had good luck with the battery tender brand. They even make multiple port units for keeping up with a bunch of small batteries, but I just use one per machine and hard wire the leads to the batteries and use the quick disconnect plugs when I park them. My favorite charger lately is a sears diehard with LCD screen. It goes from 2 amp to 150amp starting with float maintenance charging at all settings. It also has AGM and Gel battery settings to avoid overcharging them as some maintenance chargers can do.

At 2% per week, it's still no problem to drive once a month as long as you have no other drains. ie disconnected
I've had those maintainers quit and then discharge a battery. Maybe I was lucky.
