Check fuse 32, it powers some of that stuff. If it's good.... Have the O2 sensors every been changed ? The 0141 and 0161 codes are the aft O2 sensor heater circuits bad (replace the sensors). The 0750 and 0755 codes are tranny shift solenoids. Check the fluid level or when was the last time the fluid was changed? The 0708 code is the gear selector indicator (the PRNDL indicator...). Does it seem to be acting right ? Is there a lot of slop in the gear indicator? After you check all that clear the codes and see what comes back...

Fuse 32 is along the top row.... ignore the red arrows, they're for something else.....
Hey Guys, got to the truck. Check the fuses, they were fine. I had the codes cleared, they have not re-appeared for 100 miles.
So, what my wife was describing was not exactly what was happening. It looks like the engine is running fine, no power loss.
What she was seeing is the trans would slip in OD. meaning there is no pull when it shifts into OD. If I take it out of OD, and leave it in 3rd gear, works great. Only when it shifts to OD, it slips. I am still getting no codes. So, can it be as simple as a solenoid? The trans was serviced about 30K miles ago.
Just curious, do I have to do a VIN check to figure out what trans is in the car? Would it be better to get a rebuilt tranny off ebay for $1000 or just get it rebuilt locally for $1800? Price wise is an obvious choice, but if anybody has had any luck with the company on ebay, I would love to hear it.

Just some thoughts...
1. Who offers a better warranty?
2. Having a shop do it also warranties the labor should it have to come out again.
3. Does the eBay one pay for return shipping under warranty?
4. The eBay one under warranty could result in a longer downtime due to shipping back and forth.
Found out that the 2004 Expedition is a one year transmission. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. Found a good deal on a used transmission. hopefully it will keep the truck going to 500K mile. I plan on rebuilding the original transmission. Have a back up just in case. I was blown away that nothing else crosses with a 5.4 4x4, not even a F150.
