2001 F-150 (need advice)
Hey guys, I've had a 2006 F150 lariat 5.4 engine for two years now and I love it. Learn something new all the time and I hope my knowledge of fords are getting better.
So here's my question...tomorrow I am going to look at a 2001 F150, xlt Long Bed, 4wd with 167,000 miles and it is a 4.6l . I'm using it as my vehicle to check on my landscaping crews, honestly. Per year I will put 3 thousand miles on it max. I am going to a car dealership. But is there anything specific to look at when I go and see this thing tomorrow? Any advice or anything I should 100% look at before I even think about buying it. Thanks guys.

Depeding on location, check for rust. Cab corners and bed corners are horrible on these trucks, as are the rockers. Check that the 4wd is working.
Otherwise, nothing different than other vehicles, check all fluids, take it for a test drive (a 20+ mile one is best, not a 2 mile loop that dealers want you to do).
