as you know, our trucks have a little washer jet that pops out on the front camera when you use the windshield washer jets to clean the front cam! i wonder how hard it would be to install one on the back?
i assume it would be easier to have its own pump and tank in the back and probably would have to have a solid mounted jet?
Man I just run my finger over the back one every once in a while. I can't imagine the headache it would be to install a pump, tank and wiring for that and it be clean.

its a gravel road to where i store my trailers, so every time i get there and backup to a trailer i have to stop, get out and wipe it off so i can line it up, so it was just a thought to make life easier lol

Lazy haha just kidding.
Well here's a thought... 2 ways to do it cheap.
1st is to cut your existing windshield washer fluid lines and tee off of them and run a line along the frame to the rear bumper, drill a tight fitting hole into the plastic bumper trim and insert about a 1/4 of the line through there aiming up towards camera or just find a way to fasten it in that area somewhere aiming up there.
2nd is to eliminate the passenger side line altogether and use it to do the same as above.
You may end up with better pressure with the 2nd option but I have no clue ??? Just popped into my head.
You could possibly fasten an actual windshield washer spray nozzle in the bumper section above the license plate aiming up that way but I would imagine you wouldn't want that wide of a spray pattern.

I live 1 mile down a dirt road so I know what your saying about the dirt and dust. I guess I usually just make due with the blurry image. Good luck in the project
We have a washer jet??? Seriously?? I have not gotten that far in the book. I'm only on page 880 of 1600. And I thought I just bought my Platinum for the sunroof and light up door sills. I've got a washer jet?? I'm going to test it now. Had no idea.

i dont even know if i remember reading that in the book, i was sitting at a red light one day messing with the 360 cameras and i went to clean my windshield and out of the corner of my eye i saw a little thing pop out on my front cam view and spray clean the camera! it was a very proud day for me
