I have a 2014 Edge Limited 3.5L .The engine light is on with code P0345
No signal from front cam shaft sensor .I found that one lobe on the sens
wheel on the end of the cam shaft is miss shaped like it rubbed on some thing and wore off the corner . I will try to post a picture . I would like opinions if this would cause a code to be set .
I need a picture like this for the intake cam .I think the wheel is in the wrong place .
This vehicle was in an accident .I think the wheel got broken and they replaced it .
I think that because it has chisel marks on it .So if any one has the front valve cover off
if you could snap a pic and post it would be very much appreciated .I would replace the cam but that would cost $2500.00 a bit much to find out if I am right .

Reason: Picture is up side down
I fixed this car .If any one ever reads this post here is what I found .The car was in a bad accident and was written off . Some one bought it and rebuilt it .They couldnt fix the engine light problem ,so they took the gauge cluster out and put tape over the light .The wiring was damaged they did a bad job and one wire came apart in side the harrness. They tried to fix the code buy moving the wheel on the cam shaft .They got it in the wrong place . To find out where it was suposed to be I had to buy a cam shaft .I reinstalled it in the right spot ,the light went out and it runs great .The new
cam shaft will go in the garbage .
