That did not come out until 2005. SOme guys have retrofitted our models to have them as well. They are just aux switches that are already on a relay for whatever accessory you want to hook up.

They are auxiliary switches that came as an option starting in 2005 as carltonwebb mentioned. They install in the wallet pocket area in the dash (just under the radio and to the left). Here is a link if you are interested:
I have bar across the Top, a 32 inch Bar off the Bumper and 2 4 inch lights facing backwards in the Head ache rack of my truck. These Light bars these days hardly use any energy and do not require a Relay. I have my Front two Lights on one because I was lazy when I had the KC lights on the front. You can get a way with wiring straight to the Battery and using the wires that go through the firewall. One would be of the Positive going from the Battery to the switch, Make sure to out a 10 Amp fuse inline and run the other from the switch to the light. Then at the light, Cut the connector and wire the one side to the positive and the other side to the Chassis Ground.
As you stated you got them working that is how I would do it, and Yes my Lights are extremely bright and get used in Baja when I go down to the races!
Yeah, it was only $11 to do it "right". Maybe it was overkill but it works so I dont really care. Plus the wiring harness has 2 ends for plugging in bars. So I will eventually get a curved bar on top and I can just run wire down to the existing harness and just use that switch and whatnot
